Spriano
Founded in the early years of the 20th century, Spriano® is a leading brand in the measurement, indication, transmission, and control of industrial processes.
Pressure and temperature gauges, along with inclinometers designed by Spriano®, are considered crucial instruments for the safety of the control panel during navigation, and were chosen by the engineers of the SSK S-506 Toti, the first submarine to be built in Italy after World War II.
This submarine was a masterpiece of innovation and technology that re-launched the country’s shipbuilding industry (some instruments are still on display in the permanent section of the Leonardo da Vinci National Museum of Science and Technology in Milan).
In the 1980s, SPRIANO® completed its technological transition from pneumatic to electronic systems by developing a complete range of innovative instruments, including a 2-wire system and microprocessor-based electronics with both transmission and control functions.
Thanks to the high quality standards achieved with this instrumentation, Spriano® has had the opportunity to take part in various projects in more than 60 countries worldwide.
In addition to its well-established activities in Italy, Spriano® is also expanding its export operations in many foreign countries, managed by a well-trained and internationally selected sales network.
